GAY MALE COUPLES HIGHEST INCOMES
The CBS Dutch statistics bureau has reported that gay male couples have the highest household incomes in the Netherlands, followed by straight couples and lesbian couples…

A CBS report issued earlier this month about household income in the Netherlands (and indirectly, the purchasing power that comes with it) found that of the 3 types of households – gay male couples, straight couples and lesbian couples – it was gay male couples who earned the most… approximately €15,000 more annually than the other two. Straight couples and lesbian couples incomes were more or less equal.
Married or legally partnered gay male couples living together in the Netherlands earned an average of €108,000 annually, while straight couples earned an average of €92,000 and lesbian couples an average of €91,000.
The study also pointed out the pay gap that exists between men and women, with straight men earning more than straight women and gay men earning more than lesbian women. The average income of straight males in the study was €64,000 compared to €36,000 for straight women. Gay men earned an average of €58,000 per year versus €49,000 for lesbian women.
