PERFECT COSTUMES FOR EXPATS
Still haven’t decided on a costume yet for Halloween? Well if you happen to be an expat living somewhere other than where you were born and raised, what better than to choose a costume which represents your “home” country?
Here in Holland, there are hundreds of thousands of expats from all over the world. But there are certain countries which happen to be more strongly represented within the international community due to proximity or governmental relationships. Some of these expat nationalities would be British, American, Canadian, French, German, Belgian, Spanish, Irish, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern and Indian. But the nice thing about choosing a costume when you are an expat is that you can go either with your country of origin OR the country where you now live (so we’ll add Dutch to the list).
How many of these ‘national’ costumes do you recognize? If you missed some, don’t worry, the descriptions are below the image.
